Golden Chest Organic Farms understands the science and art of growing the vegetables as per organic standard such as selection of earth worm based manure to rehabilitate the soil, sustainable clean water sources, plantation methods & natural pest control.

We strictly prohibit contamination of chemicals even at trace level to ensure true 100% organic farming.

Golden Chest Organic Farms is promoted by a multi-generational family structure who understands the importance of healthy food growing and preparation.

Our aim is to introduce the concept of organic farming and harvesting to your family while educating our next generation about the importance of taking care of our soil & environment, growing organically and consuming in a healthy fashion.

Our Farming Philosophy

Our ancestors have practiced and recorded the values of leveraging our food as medicine. This forms the basis of our “Food is Med” philosophy and influences our farming practices across the entire value chain.

Seed

We source our seeds and saplings from the choicest of farmers and farming communities across Tamil Nadu and the bordering States of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala.

The seeds/ saplings are screened to be non-GMO and are taken care of in a manner that eliminates any non natural/ chemical preservation methods.

Care &
Harvest

We take an integrated approach in plantation, care and harvest of our products. We use specially sourced Vermiculture (Earth Worm enriched Cow Dung Manure) as the primary ingredient along with Jeevamritham to act as growth agents for the plant.

To help the plants fight against pests and diseases, we use natural agents like Neem Oil, Neem cake along with manual hand-picking of bigger insects.

Soil

We have revitalized the soil layer of our farms through natural means to promote an organic ecosystem and eliminate any traces of chemical contamination.

We leverage solar and hydro technologies to sustain the nutrients and return our soil to its natural state of fertility.

While we encourage you to visit the farm and pick your own vegetables, we understand it may not be possible for everyone all the time. To help increase adoption, we have launched a mobile App for easy shopping of vegetables that are neatly categorized for your convenience into Sambar/ Avial Veggies, Main Curry, Sides/Masala, Salad & Greens to meet different varieties of a happy meal.

We deliver directly from our farm to your home cutting any middle men there by controlling quality & cost.

We encourage you to visit our farm at least once to see for yourself the possibilities and benefits of organic farming. You can pick and pay for your own veggies while you are there and educate your children about the importance of eating right.
